FALCON HEIGHTS, Minn. — No. 10 Wartburg took second in the 29-team field of the Maroon division of the Roy Griak Invitational with its 108 points, Saturday morning.
No. 13 UW-Eau Claire narrowly won the event with 95 points, while No. 11 St. Olaf was third with 116. No. 26 Lewis and Clark was fourth, UW-La Crosse fifth and UW-Stevens Point sixth.
The Knights had three finish in the top 20 and were led by sophomore Alana Enabnit who took third (22:05.4).
Juniors Sammi Bruett and Haddie Vawter joined her in the top 20 with times of 22:47.8 (10th) and 23:31.2 (20th), respectively.
Sophomore Erin Sawyers took 29th (23:57.8) and junior Lauren Mapes took 46th (24:14.8) to round out the team’s finishers.
