No. 7 Alaska-Anchorage at Chaminade Invitational

WAIPIO, Hawaii -– Alaska Anchorage led by senior Susan Tanui remained perfect on the season with a sweep of the Chaminade Invitational on Saturday to complete their Hawaii road trip.

Winning for the second consecutive race, Tanui, from Kenya paced the Seawolves to a perfect score of 15. BYU-Hawaii took second with 58 points, while Hawaii Pacific furnished 80.

No. 8 Colorado-Colorado Springs at UCCS Rust Buster

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- Angie Martell led Colorado-Colorado Springs at the sixth annual Rust Buster open cross country meet held Saturday morning at Monument Valley Park in downtown Colorado Springs.  The Mountain Lions had six of their runners place in the top 10 among 35 runners.

Martell finished the course in 14:57 and third overall. Also running strong for UCCS was Veronica Sandoval, Alyssa Andrews and Sarah Treese. Sandoval finished in 15:30 to steal sixth, Andrews took seventh with a time of 15:42 and Treese close behind with a time of 15:44 for eighth overall for the four-kilometer course.
