HARRISONBURG, Va. -
#4 Lebanon Valley had no problem moving to 9-0, beating Eastern Mennonite 4-1 Saturday.

The undefeated Dutchmen held a 32-10 shots advantage as they received balanced scoring with goals by Shelly Lobach, Allison Bicher, Caitlin Vasey, and Marisa Maxwell.

Maxwell scored her fourth goal in two goals to open the scoring at 28:16, and Lobach made it a 2-0 halftime score with an unassisted tally 1:07 before the break.

LVC struck quickly to double their advantage with two goals in 28 seconds to start the second half, first as Vasey set up Bicher at 36:01, and then as Vasey got her own goal at 36:29.

EMU (5-5) got its lone score late in the second half when Hailee Rittle converted a penalty stroke, and Maxwell missed her own try from the spot moments later.

Christine Poletti made one save to pick up the win; Becky Nolt had 21 stops for EMU (5-5). LVC led 12-2 on corners.

The Dutchmen will return home Tuesday to face #19 Franklin & Marshall; all fans are asked to wear red to the game to support the AIDS Community Alliance of South Central Pa.
