Nazareth (7-12) led for a majority of the game after scoring 2:17 into the match. Lindsey Smith set up Maria Mantini for a goal off a penalty corner.
Washington & Jefferson outshot the Golden Flyers 10-4 in the first half, but could not get a shot past goalie Sophia Rhodes. That changed in the second half as junior forward Jennifer Marabella cashed in her 15th goal of the year off a pass from junior forward Arielle King. The goal came after a penalty corner.
Junior midfielder Erin Barno nailed the eventual game-winning goal with 21:55 remaining. Junior midfielder Elizabeth Herb set up Barno, who found the back of the net from 15 yards out.
Nazareth had four penalty corners the rest of the way, but could only record two shots, both of which were saved by senior Shelby Colyer. Colyer produced six total saves and improved her record to 6-2 since returning from a preseason injury.
