EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. – A late second-half goal by Anna Behm proved to be all the Golden Bears needed in a 1-0 Kutztown victory Wednesday against East Stroudsburg.
East Stroudsburg was held in check as eight first-half shots could not find the back of the net, while Kutztown registered a total of four.
In the second half, the Golden Bears outshot ESU 12-4. After a shot from Jenna Gregory, East Stroudsburg’s Sarah Dobroskey made the save. Behm then buried the game’s lone goal with 14:35 left to play in regulation.
Behm’s goal, the first of her collegiate career, gave the Maroon and Gold its first win in East Stroudsburg since 2008.

Grabbing the win between the pipes for Kutztown was Karly Waltman, who made three saves all in the first half as the Warriors’ Sarah Dobroskey took the loss with 10 saves.
