Bloomsburg falls two spots in Coaches' Poll; West Chester still tops
BLOOMSBURG, Pa. -- Bloomsburg is now ranked fifth in the latest NFHCA Coaches' Poll released on Tuesday.
The Huskies (9-3) are coming off a 1-2 week, with one of its losses coming at the hands of second-ranked Shippensburg, and dropped two spots in the national rankings. BU opened the week with a 6-1 win against Kutztown and closed the week with a 4-2 loss to Mansfield.
West Chester (9-1) is number one in the poll followed by Shippensburg (11-1), Indiana (Pa.) (10-2), UMass-Lowell (9-1) and Bloomsburg.

Bloomsburg is averaging 3.58 goals per game this season, however, the Huskies failed to reach this mark in its last two combined games despite outshooting both Shippensburg and Mansfield.
Senior Brooke Simonovich has scored seven goals in her last five games. The five-game streak is a career-high for the senior from East Stroudsburg. For the season, Simonovich has 11 goals and two assists.
Leading the Huskies in scoring is senior Jenna DiSabatino. Her 12 scores and goal per game average rate seventh in Division II. She needs one more to tie her career-high of 13 set last season.
Amber Aulenbach has a team-leading six assists, making her tenth in Division II. She has assisted in four games including a trio against East Stroudsburg on Sept. 22.
In goal, junior Megan Eppley has started all 12 games for Bloomsburg. She's made 54 saves and holds a save percentage of .720.
