. - Colorado School of Mines defeated the University of Nebraska-Kearney by the score of 55-53 in triple overtime in Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) football action on Saturday afternoon, November 13th, at Campbell Field.

With the victory, the 21st-ranked Orediggers (9-2 overall, 8-1 RMAC) become 2010 RMAC Co-Champions. #8 UNK falls to 9-2 overall (8-1 RMAC).

The selection show to announce the 24-team field for the 2010 NCAA Division II football championships is scheduled to be televised on ESPNews on Sunday, November 14th, between 1:00 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. (MDT). Six teams from each of the four Super Regionals will qualify for the 2010 NCAA Division II football championships. The RMAC resides in Super Regional Three.

Regular-season conference champions do not automatically qualify for the 2010 NCAA Division II football championships. However, earned access into the 2010 NCAA Division II football championships can be gained if a regular-season conference champion finishes in the top eight of their respective final Super Regional rankings. Colorado School of Mines was ranked ninth in this week's NCAA Division II Super Regional Three top 10 poll. Nebraska-Kearney was ranked fourth.
