College football fans received good news when Matt Barkley decided to return for his senior season in 2012. Barkley is third on USC's career passing (755 completions) and total offense (9,013 yards) lists, behind Heisman winners Carson Palmer and Matt Leinart. He is fifth on the Pac-12 career touchdown pass chart (80, second on the USC list), 16th in pass yardage (9,054, third on the USC list) and 16th in total offense (9,013). He has thrown at least one TD pass in 32 of his 36 career games, including at least three TDs in 13 games. Overall, he has tossed four TDs seven times and at least five TDs five times (the only Trojan to have done so), including twice completing a school-record six TDs in a game. Barkley will be the first three-time captain in Trojans' history.

Tyler Wilson became the first Razorback in school history to be named first-team All-SEC quarterback when he was selected to the first team on the AP and coaches’ teams in 2011. He has gone 344-of-547 passing for 4,378 yards and 31 touchdowns in his career. Wilson is the 10th 4,000-yard passer in school history and ranks fourth in career touchdown passes, sixth in career pass completions and ninth in career pass attempts. Wilson holds nine school records, including career completion percentage, and has produced three of the top five single-game completions marks in school history. He broke Arkansas’ record for consecutive passes without an interception by throwing 184 passes. Wilson led the SEC and ranked 16th in the NCAA with his average of 279.8 passing yards per game last year.

Career Statistics
Tyler Bray is 8-4 as a starter, and proved his worth when he led Tennessee to an overtime win against Vanderbilt 12 days after having a cast removed from his throwing hand last season. Bray missed five games as a sophomore, but through seven weeks of the season, he ranked eighth in passing yards/game (315.8), 10th in passing efficiency (165.3), 16th in total offense (303.8) and 33rd in passing yards (1,579). How good was he? Bray holds the Vols' record for most passing yards in the first four games of a season with 1,328; second is Peyton Manning (1,326) in 1997.

Career Statistics
In one of the more memorable bowl games in recent history, Geno Smith led West Virginia to a 70-33 rout of Clemson in the Orange Bowl last year. In that game, Smith went 32 of 43 for 407 yards and accounted for seven touchdowns (six passing, one rushing). He set all sorts of records that night, including most passing TDs in a BCS bowl and the Orange Bowl record for most TDs and passing yards in a game. It was a great end to a season which saw Smith rank No. 5 nationally in passing average (337.31 yards per game) and eighth in total offense (334 ypg). Smith threw for 4,385 yards in 13 games, the fourth-highest total in the nation in 2011.

Career Statistics
Michigan's Denard Robinson may be the most exciting playmaker at the quarterback position in the nation. You just never know what he's going to do next. Robinson currently holds the NCAA season record for rushing yards by a quarterback (1,702) and ranks 13th in career rushing yards by a quarterback (3,229). Robinson became the first player in NCAA history to pass for 2,500 yards and rush for 1,500 yards in a single season in 2010 and is the fourth player in NCAA history to gain 2,000 yards passing and 1,000 rushing in a season twice in his career (2010, 2011).

Career Statistics
There have been a lot of great quarterbacks to go through Norman, Okla. But one of the most prolific passers in Oklahoma history is back for his senior season. Landry Jones owns 13 program passing records and is OU's all-time passing leader with 12,379 career yards. He is No. 5 on the all-time Big 12 career passing list and has nine career 400-yard passing games and 21 300-yard games to his credit.

Tajh Boyd's career at Clemson didn't start off with a bang, but in 2011 he showed why he's one of the top quarterbacks in the nation. Boyd threw for 3,828 yards and 33 touchdowns against 12 interceptions while starting 14 games for the Tigers. Boyd was responsible for an ACC-record 38 touchdowns and finished first in school history in passing yards, completions, passing attempts, passing touchdowns and total offense. He was also 10th in the nation in passing yards and tied for 13th in points per game with 16.9.

Career Statistics
Aaron Murray elevated himself into the top echelon of SEC quarterbacks in 2011, after starting 14 games while completing 223 of 403 passes for 3,149 yards and a single-season school record 35 TDs. He also rushed 87 times for 111 yards and two TDs to set single-season school record for touchdowns responsible for with 37. In the SEC, Murray ranked second in passing (224.9 yards per game), second total offense (232.9) and fifth in passing efficiency (146.4).

Collin Klein led Kansas State's resurgance in 2011 with his rugged style of play. Klein rushed for a Big 12-record and FBS quarterback-record 27 touchdowns while breaking a 42-year-old school record for rushing touchdowns in a season. He ranked seventh in school history and tops among quarterbacks with 1,141 rushing yards and led the Big 12 with 317 rushing attempts -- 67 more than the next closest rusher. Klein accounted for three or more touchdowns in eight games, including five games with three or more rushing scores, the most in school history.
