FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. -- Arkansas says it will have a season-long event marking the 75th anniversary of the opening of Razorback Stadium.

The school said Monday that the stadium opened in 1938 with a capacity of 13,500. Numerous renovations and expansions since then have built capacity to 72,000.

Athletic director Jeff Long says the department has launched a website — ArkansasRazorbacks.com/75years — which features a timeline and recollections of some of the stadium's most memorable games.

Starting Tuesday, fans will be able to vote for their favorite plays in Razorback Stadium history.

Each week heading into the season opener, fans can enter to win a pair of seats that were used at the stadium between 1985 and 2011.
