Valdosta State held onto the No. 1 spot with 29 first-place votes, followed by Minnesota State-Mankato at No. 2 with two first-place votes. Northwest Missouri State and West Texas A&M flip flop places, to No. 3 and No. 4, respectively, while Colorado State-Pueblo jumped three spots to No. 5 this week.

Losses by Shippensburg, New Haven, Saginaw Valley State and Lenoir-Rhyne caused all four of those teams to drop out of the poll, which made room for North Alabama at No. 22, North Carolina-Pembroke and West Chester in a tie at No. 23 and Delta State coming in at No. 25.

Winston-Salem State dropped from fifth to 20th after losing to UNC-Pembroke and Ashland fell from ninth to 21st after its loss to Indianapolis.

There is only one Top 25 matchup this week as No. 4 West Texas A&M plays No. 18 Chadron State on Thursday night at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
