Murray State quarterbacks play fun game for preseason practice
Murray State's quarterbacks have a game they want to show you -- and the New Orleans Saints. This preseason, the Saints quarterbacks have been training with similar unconventional passing drills like "QB Golf" and "QB Plinko," which inspired the Racers to make their own.
They call their game "Two Ball." As senior Parks Frazier explains, the five quarterbacks and offensive coordinator/quarterbacks coach Mitch Stewart have seven footballs for six players. The goal: When a ball is thrown to a player, that player must throw away their current ball before catching the passed football. One ball must remain in the air at all times. It gets pretty intense.
FCS Murray State went 6-6 last year and play FBS opponents Louisville and Western Michigan within the first three games of its season.
