After four years in Norman, former Oklahoma wide receiver Sterling Shepard will enter the 2016 NFL Draft. He will certainly be missed by his Sooner teammates.

Most notably, he’ll be missed by current Oklahoma quarterback Baker Mayfield. Mayfield and Shepard only played together for one season, but it was an epic one. Wednesday is Shepard’s birthday, and Mayfield decided not only to acknowledge that on his Instagram page, but also gave a heartfelt tribute to one of his good friends. Check it out:
