The regular season is still five months away, but Notre Dame's Torii Hunter Jr. is already making spectacular catches.

Hunter Jr. hauled in a long pass from quarterback Malik Zaire with one hand with a defender on his shoulder in the Fighting Irish's Blue-Gold spring game. Last season, Hunter Jr. caught 28 passes for 363 yards and two touchdowns.

It's easy to trace where Hunter Jr. inherited his incredible hands; the senior wideout's father is former MLB outfielder Torii Hunter Sr., who was a nine-time Gold Glove winner during his 19-year career.

With the loss of Will Fuller to the NFL, Notre Dame hopes Hunter Jr. can make similar catches once the Fighting Irish open up the 2016-17 season on Sept. 4 against Texas.
