STONEHILL 26, ASSUMPTION 24 BOXSCORE
For the second time in his career, Kevin Anderson tied the school record with three interceptions as he helped Stonehill hold off Assumption in a two-point victory. Anderson also had three interceptions against Assumption as a freshman in 2009. The first time a Stonehill player had three INTs in a game was 1995 … and it was also against, you guessed it, Assumption. Anderson made this one stand out as he took the third pick back 98 yards for a touchdown that turned out to not only be the longest INT return this season, but also the game-winning points. |
