Salisbury Athletics
NO. 10 SALISBURY 28, NO. 8 ST. JOHN FISHER 17  BOX SCORE
Salisbury had to rally for 21 second-half points to pull away from St. John Fisher in a top-10 matchup. The defense played a huge role at the end as the Sea Gulls came away with a pair of interceptions and a fumble recovery to set up the offense with LB Steven Gamble leading the way. A sophomore, Gamble finished with a team-high 14 tackles and added 1.5 sacks while forcing and recovering the lone Cardinals' fumble, setting up the go-ahead touchdown.

Northwestern (Minn.) Athletics
NORTHWESTERN (MINN.) 14, ST. SCHOLASTICA 13  BOXSCORE
There wasn't much scoring -- in fact, neither team scored on offense until the final four minutes of the contest -- but Northwestern (Minn.) pulled out a one-point win thanks in part to Brian Lecheler, who opened the game with his third kickoff return touchdown since 2011. Lecheler took the opening kickoff back for a score, racing 94 yards to the end zone for the 11th-longest KOR in Division III this fall. Cory Gebhard also scored on a 90-yard kickoff return for St. Scholastica in the losing effort.
