NCAA RELEASE
INDIANAPOLIS—The NCAA has announced that 80 teams and 32 student-athletes have been selected to participate in the regional competition of the 2010 NCAA Division II Men’s Golf Championships. The regional competitions will be conducted May 3-5.
The top five teams and the top two student-athletes not with a team from each regional (regardless of region) will advance to the finals May 18-21 at The Sagamore Club in Noblesville, Ind. The finals will be hosted by the Indiana Sports Corporation, the University of Indianapolis, the Great Lakes Valley Conference and the Hamilton County Sports Authority.
There will be four regional sites in which two regions will meet and conduct regional tournaments. The regional tournaments will be paired as follows:
Atlantic and East
South and Southeast
Midwest and South Central
Central and West
Conference automatic qualifiers are indicated in brackets next to the institution’s name.

Sonoma State University defeated California State University, San Bernardino in an exciting two-team playoff to win the 2009 NCAA Division II Men’s Golf Championships. This was Sonoma State’s first men’s golf national championship in school history. The championships were hosted at Loomis Trail Golf Club in Blaine, Wash., by Western Washington University.
Highlights of the NCAA Division II Men’s Golf Championships will be shown on CBS at 2 p.m. Eastern time, Sunday, June 20.
