St. John Fisher completed 27 holes on Sunday and took home the Empire 8 Championship this weekend in Danielsville, Pa.

Fisher entered yesterday's play tied with host Moravian after rounds one and two, which were played back in September. After being forced to stop after nine holes due to yesterday's rain, the Cardinals held a seven-stroke lead.

Fisher carded a 311 in each of the final rounds to defeat the closest competitor, Moravian, by 39 strokes for a four-day total of 1239.

Tyler McArdell medaled in the overall tournament, with a four-round total of 306 (79-76-76-75). Teammate Chris Clapper was close behind in a tie for second, carding a 78 on each of the final two days for a tournament total of 311. Fisher's Brady Yates and Joseph Radulski also ranked among the top ten at sixth and eighth places, respectively.
