Terriers one stroke behind top-dog Georgia Southern
CHARLESTON, S.C. -- Wofford sits in second place after an opening round score of 291 at the Southern Conference Championship.
Wofford is one stroke back of 18-hole team-leader Georgia Southern, 290 and two shots ahead of third place, Samford, 293.
Brent Whitehead led the Terriers with a round of 71 and is in a tie for fourth, while Brannan Hudson carded an even par score of 72 and sits tied for sixth. Chandler Brazeal and Cory Taylor each shot a 74 and are in 18th, and Brent McKenzie shot a 77.
