INDIANAPOLIS – The NCAA Division II Men’s Golf Committee announced today the 108 participants that will compete in the 2012 NCAA Division II Men’s Golf Championships.
The championships will be held May 15-19, at The Cardinal Club Golf Course in Simpsonville, Ky. The championships are part of the 2012 Division II National Championships Festival being hosted by Bellarmine and the Louisville Sports Commission.
The top five teams and top two individuals not on those teams from each regional have advanced to compete at the finals.

California State Monterey Bay defeated Lynn in medal/match play by a score of 3 to 2, to claim its first men’s golf national championship in school history. Cal State Chico’s Kyle Souza won a playoff with Lynn’s Daniel Young to claim the individual title. The championships were hosted at the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail – “Fighting Joe Course” in Muscle Shoals, Ala., by North Alabama.
