DePauw takes first at classic
Gough earned medalist honors with a 150
Danville, Ind. -- DePauw shot a two-round 612 including a 298 Sunday and won the Katman Klassic by 34 strokes. Olivet was second at 646 followed by Washington-St. Louis in third with a 647.
DePauw's Natalie Gough earned medalist honors with a 150 including a tournament-low 70 today. Taylor Beaty was second with a 151, while Paige Gooch tied for third with Washington's Hannah Buck as each shot 155. DePauw's Kelly Gaughan rounded out the all-tournament teams after placing fifth with a 156.
Also competing for DePauw were Camila Romero with a 162 and individuals Kelsey Smith at 164 and Sam Stahler with 167.
DePauw returns to action on April 16-17 when it competes in the Illinois Wesleyan Spring Fling.
