GRANBURY, Texas – The No. 3 Tarleton TexAnns claimed the Doc Housewright Tarleton Invitational title with a 592 at Harbor Lakes Golf Club after shooting a two-under 286 on Tuesday.
The TexAnns finished ahead of Grand Canyon (611) and St. Edward’s (619) to claim their sixth victory of the season behind senior Carla Cooper, who won the individual title with a two-under 142 (74-68).
Teammate Katy Ward finished second with a 147 (77-70) while Jacqueline Lau took third with a 148 (77-70). GCU’s Jacqueline Sneddon finished fourth with a 149 (75-74) while her teammate Ashley Mooney rounded out the top five individuals with a 150 (78-72).
