DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -- Lynn won its third tournament of the year, and second of the spring, with an 11-stroke victory at the SMSU Spring Invite. Ellen Chambers took top honors for her first career individual tournament victory, besting her teammate Louise Manalo by two shots at the LPGA International Legends Course.

Chambers fired a career-best one-under par 71 on the final day to post a 36-hole total of 150. Manalo carded consecutive rounds of 76, tying for second with Marie Santacroce, while also tying her lowest 36-hole score of 152.

Irene Calvo and Samantha Smolen earned a share of fifth place after posting rounds of 75. The duo logged identical scores each day for a 155 score. 

Jessica Bradley showed an eight-stroke improvement for a final day 74, while Estefania Buritica logged a 77 for a 158 total.

The fourth-ranked Fighting Knights (610) started the day with a seven–stroke lead but added to it with a tournament-best 295 to defeat No. 7 Barry (621) and Flagler (636). Division I Indiana State (645) and William Woods (646) remained in the top five.
