ASHLAND, Va. -- No. 1 Methodist shot a second-round 318 en route to a 15-stroke win in the Randolph-Macon Invitational on Sunday afternoon.

The Monarchs, who held a four-shot lead on Delaware State entering the final round, bested DSU by 11 shots on the final day to post a two-day score of 630 en route to the win. DSU took second (316-329--645) and Kutztwon (342-332--674), Gettysburg (356-349--705) and McDaniel (365-351--716) rounded out the top five.

Individually, the Monarchs took home some hardware as well, as Keslie Carralero and Jenny Sullivan finished 1-2 in the event. Carralero shot 77-71 (148) to finish at +4, while Sullivan shot 78-77 (155) to finish at +11.

Also for the Monarchs, Lizzy Blomgren tied for seventh overall with 79-84 (163) and Loretta Giovannettone tied for ninth with a scorecard of 78-86 (164). Andrea Daly added a tie for 21st overall with an 81-88 (169).

Andie Savel, who was competing as an individual, shot a second-round 82 after an opening 81 for a total of 163 and a tie for seventh.
