THIS WEEK

No. 1 ranked Utah (7-1) wraps up a busy week Friday, Feb. 13, meeting No. 12 Nebraska in Lincoln. It will mark the third meet in seven days for the Utes, who will put a six-meet win streak on the line. The Utah-Nebraska meet starts at 7 p.m. Central Time (6 p.m. MT) in the Devaney Center. QUICK STICKS

The Utes are on a record-setting attendance pace, averaging 13,704 fans to their first three meets. Utah looks to break its own single-season attendance mark of 13,164 in 1993. Last Friday's crowd of 15,080 was the fourth-largest in Utah gymnastics history and the fifth-best in NCAA history ... Utah is ranked No. 1 for the second straight week. The Utes were last ranked No 1 in 2005 ... Utah is the only team to qualify for all 27 NCAA Championships while Nebraska has qualified 18 times ... The Huskers failed to make the NCAA cut last year--snapping a string of nine straight appearances ... Utah, which has placed second at the last three NCAA Championships, has a record 10 national titles (nine NCAA) .... Nebraska's Tricia Woo rotated with the Utes during the 2008 NCAA Championships preliminary session as an at-large all-around qualifier ... Lincoln, Neb., is the site of the 2009 NCAA Championships on Apr. 16-18 ... While Utah leads the series 38-7-2, the Huskers lead 4-1 in Lincoln. Utah is 0-2 in dual meets in the Devaney Center, losing in 2005 and 2007. Utah's only win was at the 1995 NCAA Regionals. The Utes placed behind the Huskers both days of team competition at the 2003 NCAA Championships in Lincoln.

UTE NOTES

Kristina Baskett leads Utah with 15 wins, including nine in the last two meets. Other Ute victors are Daria Bijak (3), Annie DiLuzio (3), Nina Kim (3), Jamie Deetscreek (2) and Gael Mackie (1) ... Four Utes have gone all-around this season--Baskett and Jamie Deetscreek in all six meets. All-arounders and their season highs: Baskett (39.675), Deetscreek (39.50), Kim (39.50), Mackie (39.125) and Bijak (38.775) ... On bars, Baskett has scored a 9.925 or better in five of six meets, and Bijak has four 9.90 or better scores ... All three of DiLuzio's wins are on floor, where she received a career-high 9.95 on Feb. 6 ... Deetscreek is 24-24 in hit routines ... Jacquelyn Johnson competed to score for the first time against Utah State and the sophomore's 9.775 counted toward Utah's floor score ... Injured All-American Kyndal Robarts (shoulder) returned to the lineup on vault and floor on Monday, bringing her event total to three (vault, beam, floor). Robarts is out for the season on bars ... The Utes are ranked No. 1 in the nation on vault (49.290 average) and bars (49.295). Utah is second on floor (49.185) and seventh on beam (48.960) ... Kristina Baskett is ranked No. 1 on vault (9.915 average) and 11th in the all-around (39.300), Annie DiLuzio is No. 2 on floor (9.895), Daria Bijak is No. 3 on bars (9.90) and Nina Kim is 10th on vault (9.880) ... Still on the injured list is junior All-American Beth Rizzo, who sprained her ankle in the season-opener on Jan. 9 ... Utah is 2-1 on the road this year, with wins at Oregon State and Utah State and a loss at Georgia.

LAST MEET

Kristina Baskett won the all-around and every event title to lead Utah past Utah State 196.950-193.500 on Feb. 9. Jamie Deetscreek placed second all-around with a career-high 39.50 and tied Baskett for first on floor (9.875). Baskett, who tied for first on beam with Nina Kim (9.90), won vault and bars with season-best 9.95 marks. Baskett's 39.675 all-around score was also a season best. Competing in the first all-around of her career was sophomore Gael Mackie, who finished third with a 39.125.
