CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. --  After a hard-fought, 65-minute battle, Samantha Reber buried the game winner to give No. 6 Harvard a thrilling 3-2 overtime win against Boston University in the Beanpot Consolation on Tuesday in Conte Forum.

Miye D'Oench, who notched three points for the second consecutive outing, tied the game with just eight minutes to play. Jessica Harvey also lit the lamp for the Crimson, tallying her first career goal to give Harvard an early 1-0 lead in the first. In net, Emerance Maschmeyer turned in yet another stellar performance, steering away 39 shots to earn her 15th victory of the year.

As the two skated to 2-2 draw after a full 60 minutes, it was a game either side could take. BU fired away once again, sending six shots on target to Harvard's two, but the Crimson made its pair of shots count. After D'Oench made an excellent play up the boards to feed it to Gedman, the junior captain saucered a brilliant pass to Reber who banged it home off the pipe with a mere 10.9 seconds left.
