Holy Cross coach Pascal resigns
Pascal went 22-70 in his seven years leading Crusaders
WORCESTER, Mass. -- Holy Cross head men's lacrosse coach Adam Pascal has announced his resignation, effective immediately. Pascal posted an overall record of 22-70 during his seven years with the Crusaders, including a 3-34 mark in Patriot League play and a 0-6 record so far in 2011. He earned New England Coach of the Year honors in 2007, after Holy Cross went 6-8 overall.
Assistant coach Jim Morrissey will take over as the Crusaders' interim head coach for the remainder of the 2011 season.
"We are very sorry to see Adam leave," said Holy Cross athletic director Richard M. Regan, Jr. "He has worked very hard for the last seven years, and the program has improved during that time."
Holy Cross will commence a national search for Pascal's replacement after the conclusion of the 2011 season.
