Moon Township, Pa. - Feb.  17, 2009 - Robert Morris University sophomore Corbyn Tao-Brambleby (Coquitlam, B.C. / Western Reserve Academy) took home his first Nike/Inside Lacrosse Player of the Week honor after his impressive six point performance in the Colonials biggest win in program history.

RMU took down Penn State, 12-11, in double overtime on Saturday afternoon at Joe Walton Stadium. The entire team was also featured by the magazine for its win over Penn State.  Monday, Tao-Brambleby was honored by the Colonial Athletic Association for his performance.

The attacker finished the game with three goals, including the game-winner in the second overtime, and three assists. He started off his impressive game with one assist in the first quarter and back-to-back assists in the second quarter. With two minutes left in the third quarter he recorded his first goal of the game and in the fourth quarter with the Colonials down by two he scored a goal at 10:49 to bring RMU within one.

After one of his teammates knotted the game at the end of regulation, he made a clutch play in the second overtime to find the net and win the game, 12-11. He currently leads the Colonials with four goals and three assists for seven points.

RMU returns to action on Feb. 21 to take on Bellarmine at home for a 1:00 p.m. start time.
