GETTYSBURG, Pa. - The Gettysburg College women's lacrosse team continued to ride on the wings of destiny this spring by blowing out Trinity (Conn.) College 17-3 in the NCAA Division III Tournament Regional Championship Saturday afternoon and clinching a spot in next weekend's final four hosted at the Bullets' very own Clark Field.

Seniors Hollis Stahl (Hightstown, N.J./Peddie School) and Lauren Woodman (Denver, Colo./Kent Denver) led Gettysburg's scoring barrage with four goals and sophomore Hannah Church (Ellicott City, Md./Mount de Sales Academy) chalked up a career-high seven points on three goals and four assists. Senior goalie Kristen Krammer (Woodbine, Md./Glenelg) polished off an outstanding weekend in the cage with eight saves.

All four regional hosts advanced to next weekend's championships at Gettysburg as Hamilton College (20-0), Franklin & Marshall College (16-3), and Salisbury University (19-1) also breezed by their opponents on Sunday. It will be rematches on both sides of the bracket, as the Diplomats meet the Continentals at 11 a.m. and the Bullets face the Sea Gulls at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 22. The two winners will square off for the Division III title on Sunday at noon.
