INDIANAPOLIS -- The NCAA Division II Women’s Lacrosse Committee has selected the teams that will compete in the 2011 NCAA Division II Women’s Lacrosse Championship.  

The championship provides for a six-team tournament.  Two first-round games will be conducted May 14 at campus sites.  Winners of the first round games will advance to the semifinals to play the number one seeded teams and final, to be played May 21-22 at Motamed Field at Adelphi University, in Garden City, New York.  Adelphi will serve as host for the championship.

From the North region, the number three seed, Le Moyne College, will play the number two seed, Dowling College, and Dowling will serve as host.  The winner will advance to play the number one seed from the north region, Adelphi University.  From the South region the number three seed West Chester University of Pennsylvania will play the number two seed, Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania, and Lock Haven will serve as host.  The winner will advance to play the number one seed from the south region Limestone College.
