• Who is your team’s biggest rival and why?
I think it is equal between the Minnesota Golden Gophers and the Minnesota-Duluth Bulldogs. Those games always seem to be high-paced and high intensity. Everything always seems to be on the line, i.e. national championships, WCHA league and playoff championships or the No. 1 seed.

• What moment and from when is your best memory against them?
Last year in the WCHA Final Face-Off when we came back to beat Minnesota in overtime after being down 3-0. Thank you, Kelly Nash!

• When did you realize this rivalry was so big?
Being from New Jersey, I did not realize the rivalry was as big as it was until my visit when I saw the Minnesota vs. Wisconsin men’s hockey game which was sold out.

And now every time we play them it is always exciting.

• What is your favorite college sports rivalry other than your school’s and why?
North Carolina vs. Duke men’s basketball. My sister is an UNC alum, so ever since I was little, we have been big UNC fans and love to see them beat Duke. Go Heels!
