DI Rowing field announced
Sixteen Division I teams will head to Gold River from May 27-29
INDIANAPOLIS -- The NCAA Division I Women’s Rowing Committee has selected the teams that will compete in the 2011 NCAA Division I Women’s Rowing Championships.
The championships will be held May 27-29 at the Sacramento State Aquatic Center in Gold River, California. Washington State University will serve as host.
The team championship is composed of 16 teams and each team is required to field two boats of eight rowers and one boat of four rowers.

In 2010, Virginia claimed its first national title at the NCAA Division I Women’s Rowing Championships at the Sacramento State Aquatic Center.
