VANCOUVER, Wash. – Puget Sound was back on the water with two women's boats stealing the show for the Loggers. The Loggers were on the waters of Vancouver Lake on Saturday for the NCRC Invitational.

The W2V8 boat for the Loggers started off the day on a high note as it rowed to a victory. The Loggers finished 10 seconds ahead of the nearest competitor with a time of 7:12.90.

The men's varsity 4 boat turned in another solid performance as it finished second in its race. The Loggers posted were just seven second back of the MV4 winners.

The women's varsity 8 continued to establish itself as one of the premier Division III boats when it won the DIII heat in the morning. In the afternoon's championship heat the Loggers came in second with a time of 7:14.1 to the WV8 from Division II Humboldt State.
