Roundup: Rollins wins with defense, aggressive second half
NYACK, N.Y. -- C.W. Post, ranked fifth this week in the NSCAA poll, dropped its first contest of 2011, falling 1-0 to the Nyack Warriors on Tuesday afternoon in non-conference action.
The Pioneers now stand at 12-1-1 on the season witha 4-0-1 slate in the ECC.
A second-half goal by Arturo Garcia was the difference-maker in the contest.

BABSON PARK, Fla. -- Eight-ranked Rollins earned its 11th victory of the season in a 2-0 victory against Webber International on Tuesday afternoon. The Tars are now 11-2 on the season after closing out the non-conference season.
The first period turned out to be sluggish with both teams feeling each other out. Rollins had a few opportunities, but was turned away by the stingy Warrior defense. Rollins was aggressive in the second half, using its speed to overpower the Warriors. Evan Greenbaum found the back of the net in the 58th minute off a perfect cross from a corner kick via the foot of Sean Maleknia.
The backline was exceptionally strong again as it did not allow a shot on goal in the second half with Keneil Baker between the posts.
Rollins struck again in the 66th minute with Blade Zych finding the ball in the box after Ryan and Sean Maleknia crafted two perfect passes to setup the senior for the goal.
