What is your best team memory?

During my sophomore season, we fought through two penalty-kick victories on our way to an appearance in the Final Four. Along the way, we had winning goals from a freshman and a senior, as well as contributions from everyone in between. Our relaxed yet supportive team chemistry, for which there is no formula, made the journey my most precious athletic experience.

After graduation, I am planning on working in Central America in order to gain experience in the field of education, so that I may return equipped with knowledge and skills that would benefit me in an inner city teaching position, most likely the north side of Chicago.

Who is your mentor and what is the most impactful thing they have taught you?

One of my most influential mentors is my sister.  She has taught me to live today like it could be my last and to live life to the fullest. I've learned from her that I should not just sit back and watch life pass by, and that if I want to do something I should do it now because I may not get another chance.
