KANSAS CITY, Kan. –  After an 8-1 start to the 2012 season, Palm Beach Atlantic has leaped into the NSCAA Top 25 poll at No. 14.

The men’s spot in the Top 25 marks the first time in program history that a Sailfish soccer squad has been ranked. At No. 14, it is the highest position that any PBA program has ever earned.

PBA went 1-1 last week, falling to Barry 3-2 in overtime and defeating Saint Leo in double overtime 1-0.

The next five matches are crucial to the Sailfish postseason hopes. With in-region matchups against West Alabama, Florida Tech, Lynn, Eckerd and Rollins, the goal for an NCAA postseason berth sits within reach.
