INDIANAPOLIS — The Division II Men’s Soccer Committee announced Monday the field of 35 teams for the 2012 Division II Men’s Soccer Championship.
Two to six teams were selected from each of the eight regions. Teams from the same region will be paired for first- and/or second-round competition, which will be conducted Nov. 8-11 on campus sites. Third-round and quarterfinals will be held on campus sites and completed by Nov. 18.
The semifinals and final will be played Nov. 29 and Dec. 1 at Blanchard Woods Park in Evans, Ga., and will be hosted by the Peach Belt Conference.
In the 2011 championship, Fort Lewis claimed the title with a 3-2 victory against Lynn.
