CHAPEL HILL, N.C--The fourth-ranked University of North Carolina women's soccer team will play host to the 14th-ranked Texas A&M University women's soccer team Friday at 2 p.m. in the NCAA Tournament quarterfinals at Fetzer Field. The winner of Friday's match will earn a spot in the 2008 NCAA Women's College Cup semifinals the following Friday at Wake Med Soccer Park in Cary, N.C.

UNC is 22-1-2 overall and seeded No. 1 in the lower right quadrant of the 2008 Tournament bracket. The Aggies are 18-4-1 are they are the No. 3 seed in the lower right quadrant. The winner of the matchup between UNC and Texas A&M will play in one of the semifinal matches scheduled for December 5 at Wake Med Soccer Park (formerly SAS Soccer Park) in Cary. The A&M-UNC winner will meet the winner of a quarterfinal game between Duke and UCLA being played Saturday at 10 p.m. EST in Los Angeles, Calif.

For Friday's game, fans are encouraged to purchase their tickets online and print out their tickets and bring them to Fetzer Field for the game. Please see the ticket purchasing link at the top of this page. Because of construction near Fetzer Field, there are three enrances to Fetzer Field open on Friday. Those with preprinted tickets can enter at either gate off South Road (near the entrance to the Hooker Intramural Fields or near the Institute of Government Parking Garage).

Individual tickets will be sold at the Eddie Smith Field House/Navy Field Lot entrance beginning at 12:30 p.m.
