The first half would end in a draw with both teams sitting at 0-0.
The Lady Buffs would begin the second half spending most of their time on the Hilltoppers side of the field, however the Hilltopper defense held the Lady Buffs attack to just one shot.
Hilltopper Copeland had an opportunity to end the game in the last 50 seconds of the match taking a clear shot on goal, however the shot bounced off the far left post, ending regulation time 0-0. Skehan kept the Lady Buffs in the match with a total of three saves.
