No. 2 Messiah 7, Wittenberg 0
GRANTHAM, Pa. -- No. 2 Messiah cruised past Wittenberg by the score of 7-0 on Friday night. Six different players tallied the seven goals for Messiah, with four different players collecting assists.

The scoring came early and often as senior Corrine Wulf slotted the first goal into the right corner of the net off a through pass from Hench at the 10:50 mark. Less than nine minutes later, senior Kelsey Gorman rebounded her own shot off the Wittenberg keeper to give the Falcons a 2-0 lead. Wingard would score the third goal in similar fashion at the 28:03 mark, and the Falcons never looked back. With just under three minutes left in the half, junior Anne Trapp completed the first-half scoring by punching in a shot from a mess in the box.

The Hench goal, which resulted from assists from Wingard and Sipe, highlighted the offensive attack of the evening. Hench would return the favor to Sipe just two minutes later, with Sipe pounding the ball into an open net on a cross from the right side. With 68:00 on the clock, Wulf knocked in her second goal of the game on an assist from freshman Hannah Weyland to complete the scoring.
