EWING, N.J. -- No. 5 Johns Hopkinsused a late-game goal from freshman Hannah Kronick to defeat No. 11 TCNJ 1-0 to remain perfect on the season.

Despite outshooting the Lions 8-6 in the first half, the Blue Jays could not find the back of the net and took a scoreless tie into the break.

Kronick broke the scoreless tie early in the 68th minute when she took the rebound off the crossbar from a shot by junior Taylor Schulte and caught TCNJ goalie Cristina Gacos off guard and powered the ball above her hands to put the Blue Jays up 1-0.

With her team-leading fourth game-winning goal of the season, Kronick extended her goal and point scoring streaks to seven and 11 games, respectively, tied senior Erica Suter for the longest streaks in school history.

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa -- No. 1 Messiah defeated Lycoming in Commonwealth Conference action on a rainy Wednesday at the Shangraw Athletic Complex.

Alex Brandt, Erin Hench and Mackenzie Clapper scored once in each half for the Falcons (11-0-1 overall, 3-0 Commonwealth), as the Falcons posted 30 shots in the game.

WHEATON, Ill. -- No. 4 Wheaton (Ill.) remained unbeaten on the season with a 3-0 conference victory against Carthage on Wednesday night at Joe Bean Stadium. Wheaton is now 13-0-1 on the year and 2-0 in CCIW play.

Junior Keri Shannon headed the ball into the back of the net at the 5:41 mark of the match to give the Thunder a 1-0 lead. Shannon’s header was setup on a double-touch corner kick from Jaime Orewiler and Katelyn Kishkunas. Wheaton held onto its 1-0 lead for the remainder of the first half.

A double-touch corner kick from the duo of Orewiler and Shannon set up Wheaton’s second goal. Junior Val Lelle then headed the ball into the net to give Wheaton a 2-0 lead at the 63:54 mark. Senior Kaitlyn LeBaudour scored her third goal of the season at the 84:31 to give Wheaton its final score.
