Keep Your Eyes on This

Division I: This season, the Big 12 has the nation’s top scoring offense (Texas A&M, 3.63 goals per game) and the country’s third best defense (Oklahoma State, .307 goals allowed per game).

• Division I: ACC Co-Player of the Week Caroline Miller of Virginia is the first conference player to score two overtime goals in ACC play since UNC’s Meghan Klingenberg and Casey Noguiera both accomplished the feat in 2007. Miller has scored five of Virginia’s nine goals in ACC play this season.

• Division I: Milwaukee is nationally ranked for the eighth-consecutive week. The Panthers moved up into the top-10 in the NSCAA Coaches' Poll. The Panthers are off to the best start in school history at 14-1. The team began 2011 with six-consecutive wins, tying the 2008 squad for most wins to start the season. The previous best record after 15 games was 12-2-1 in 2006.

• Division III: Lawrence's Mallory Koula set a Division III record for the three fastest consecutive goals and broke Lawrence’s career scoring record in the process as the Vikings defeated Beloit 6-1 in a Midwest Conference match at Whiting Field West. Koula now has 56 goals in her collegiate career.

• Division III: In last week’s 6-0 win against Lycoming, Messiah senior Erin Hench became the 13th player in Division III history to collect both 50 goals and 50 assists in a career.
