DENTON, Texas -- Texas Woman's led No. 2 Abilene Christian for 85 minutes, but the Wildcats scored two late goals for a 2-1 win on Friday.

TWU took a 1-0 lead on freshman Candice Davies' goal in 39th minute.  She took a pass from Brittany Martin from the close left wing and found the net from five yards out.

In the second half, the Wildcats put the pressure on TWU, taking a 13-4 advantage in shots, but the Pioneers held their ground. TWU's second opportunity to add to the lead came in the 82nd minute, but sophomore Meridith Molge's blast from out the box hit the left post.

ACU tied the game in the 86th minute on Stephanie Heron's goal. The Wildcats scored the game-winner with less than a minute to go in the regulation when Whitley Lindholm found the net at 89:09 mark.

ALLENDALE, Mich. -- No. 3 Grand Valley State tallied its sixth consecutive shutout in a 4-0 win against Tiffin on Friday.

GVSU improves to 14-0-2 and 13-0 in the GLIAC, marking the third time in four years the Lakers have earned 13 or more wins in the conference. Tiffin falls to 7-6-2 on the season and 6-4-1 in the league play.

Junior Maria Brown led the team with two goals, while Kayla Addison notched a goal and an assist. Senior Erin Mruz had two assists to now sit in a three-way tie in the GVSU record book with 41 career assists.
