COLLEGE STATION, Texas – Texas A&M moved up four spots to No. 6 in the most recent National Soccer Coaches Association of America NSCAA Poll released on Tuesday.

After spending two weeks at No. 10, the Aggies were rewarded following a pair of shutouts, including a 2-0 win against South Carolina on Friday and a 2-0 win against Auburn on Sunday. The Maroon and White extended the program-record shutout streak to seven games.
This marks the highest ranking of the year for Texas A&M which was slotted 14th in the preseason poll.
The Maroon and White are off to a 10-1-0 start on the season. Texas A&M’s current nine-game win streak is the longest since the Aggies strung together 10 consecutive wins in 2007.
The Aggies’ defense has only allowed three goals in 11 games on the season, including one goal during the current nine-game win streak.
