KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Drury upended No. 7 Rockhurst with a 2-0 victory Friday at Bourke Field behind goals from Jennifer Rogers and Elle Kekec.

Drury improved to 8-7-1 overall and 6-6-1 in conference, while Rockhurst lost for the first time. It sits at 11-1-3 overall and 9-1-3 in GLVC play.

Just 12:20 into the game, Drury junior forward Jennifer Rogers scored her third goal of the season to give the Panthers a 1-0 lead. Rogers posted three first-half shots for Drury.

Sophomore defender Elle Kekec extended the Drury lead to two at the 66:11 mark with her first career goal as a Panther.

Drury freshman goalkeeper Kelsey Vaught posted her fifth shutout of the season while making five saves.

Rockhurst outshot the Panthers 20-11 with Taylor Skala recording a team-high five shots for the Hawks. Rogers had four shots for Drury. Both teams recording five shots on goal for the contest.
