Caroline Miller, a senior forward for the No. 14 Cavaliers, recorded a hat trick on Sunday to fuel Virginia to a 5-0 routing of No. 22 Virginia Tech. She also added an assist to her three goals, tying the school record for points in a game with seven. It was Miller's 10th multi-goal game in her career and fourth this season. She moved into third place on the program's career goal list with 37 and sixth on the career points list with 89.

Goalkeeper Emily Lillard had a pair of shutouts during the last week of play for Miami, with a 0-0 scoreless draw against No. 24 Boston College and a 1-0 overtime decision versus No. 7 Maryland. Against BC, she tallied five saves. In the huge win against the Terps, she had two saves and also assisted in the game's lone goal with Jordan Roseboro finding the net after a free kick by Lillard. She has not allowed a goal in her past three starts, including three ranked opponents and two double-overtime draws.
 
Wake Forest Athletics
Senior midfielder Kristen Meier set up three goals this weekend as the 13th-ranked Demon Deacons knocked off NC State 4-2 on Thursday and No. 10 North Carolina 2-1 on Sunday. Meier's two helps against the Wolfpack matched her career high, which was set last season against Campbell. Wake Forest's win at UNC was its first win against the Tar Heels at Fetzer Field.
