Game Notes:
* Oregon's Amy Harris had five strikeouts to become the school's all-time career leader with 476.
* With today's loss, Wichita State fell to 0-4 in the NCAA tournament.

Wichita State Head Coach Tim Walton
On the game-winning hit by Oregon's Ashley Richards:
"Not to take anything away from (Ashley) Richards. Obviously she had a clutch hit and I congratulate her on a great at bat with a clutch hit. She battled herself through it. We weren't going to let Oregon's Beth Boskovich be the one to beat us today, though."

On WSU's defense:
"We're a top-10 fielding team in America. When you don't have a strike-out pitcher, you have to play great defense. That's what has gotten us here to this point and we take a lot of pride in our defense. I think we turned four double-plays in this tournament. I think our defense can play and step up and make big plays for us."

Wichita State Sophomore Margo Pruis
On her pitch to Oregon's Ashley Richards
"My curveball wasn't working as good as it usually is, but she did hit a curveball and she was battling off the pitches. I was throwing in and out. I threw a curveball on the corner, but she got a good piece of it."
