TERRE HAUTE, IND. -- Otterbein College defeated Manchester College for the second consecutive night to advance to the NCAA Division III Baseball Mideast Regional championship round against the College of Wooster.

Otterbein will need two victories over Wooster on Sunday to claim the regional title. Due to weather concerns regarding Sunday, the championship round has been moved up one hour to 11 a.m.

Otterbein relied on the strong arm of Bobby Wright to advance to the championship game. Wright surrendered three hits with no walks and eight strikeouts in a 121-pitch effort. Trevor Horn recorded the last two outs to earn his second save.

The balanced Cardinal hitting attack featured two hits, one run and one RBI for Brandon Mauck, along with singles and RBIs for Ben Titus, Chris Martin and Tyler Shaw.

After Otterbein scored once in the third, Manchester called on reliever Travis Sluss to keep the game close. Sluss pitched 3.2 innings, allowing three hits with two strikeouts in middle relief.

Manchester rallied from a 3-0 deficit to tie the score at 3-3 on a bases loaded double by Brock Treesh. Wright otherwise held the Spartans in check to improve to 3-1 on the season.

Otterbein scored in four consecutive innings to build a 5-3 lead after the fifth. The two-run second inning featured a single by Pat Connor, an RBI single by Tyler Shaw and a fielding error.
