OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. - The undefeated (8-0) Alabama Crimson Tide remained at No. 1 today in the ESPN.com/USA Softball Collegiate Top 25 poll as announced today by the Amateur Softball Association of America (ASA).  The SEC power received 14 first-place votes as they completed a four-game run-rule sweep over their opponents at their home Bama Bash tournament in Tuscaloosa.

The Florida Gators (six first-place votes) remained at No. 2 while the Washington Huskies (9-0) made a move from No. 7 to No. 3 with a strong 4-0 record on the weekend outscoring opponents 38 to 4. The Tennessee Lady Volunteers cracked the Top Ten at No. 10 while No. 23 Ohio State made the week’s largest jump after a 5-0 perfect weekend with wins over a then No. 13 Texas A&M and No. 20 LSU.

No. 20 North Carolina and No. 22 Louisville made a move into the Top 25 after successful weekends while Purdue, Kansas and Long Beach State dropped out.

TOP TEN MATCH-UPS OF THE WEEK: With the Cathedral City Classic in Palm Springs this coming weekend, several Top Ten teams will be tested.

Feb. 19 – No. 2 Florida vs. No. 7 Arizona State

Feb. 20 – No. 1 Alabama vs. No. 6 UCLA

               No. 2 Florida vs. No. 3 Washington

               T4. Oklahoma vs. No. 7 Arizona State
