TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - The Alabama Softball team used a big third inning, driving in seven runs, to win game one of the NCAA Softball Tuscaloosa Super Regional, beating Jacksonville State 9-0 in five innings.

Alabama's Kelsi Dunne threw her third no hitter of the season and fifth of her career to collect the win, going to 26-3 on the season. Her career total ties the school record set by Stephanie Van Brakle. It also marks the second Alabama no hitter in NCAA postseason play. Jacksonville State's Karla Pittman took the loss, falling to 17-4. Alabama is at its fifth NCAA Super Regional while Jacksonville State is making its first appearance in a Super Regional.

The two teams will be back in action Saturday (May 23) at 11 a.m. at the Alabama Softball Complex. If a third game is necessary, it will start 30 minutes after the end of game two. Tomorrow's games will be televised by ESPN.
