ARIZONA STATE QUICK HITS
► Arizona State junior Alix Johnson hit a two-run double to left center on Thursday in the fifth inning to give the Sun Devils a 2-0 lead. It was Johnson’s eighth double of the season.

► ASU sophomore Haley Steele sent a solo home run over the left field fence in the top of the sixth inning, cutting Texas’ lead to 4-3. It was Steele’s 12th home run of the season.

► Thurday's game marked the second time Michigan has been no-hit in the WCWS, the last coming in 1998.
